Get to Know Me

I went from living the small-town Alaskan life to joining the Marine Corps right out of high school and seeing the world. Traveling the globe opened my mind to the varied lives that all the people of this world might live, and I took that knowledge, along with the discipline that the USMC imparted upon me, and went to college at UAF. After earning my BA in journalism at UAF, I decided that working in that industry did not suit me and I wanted to do more meaningful work. 
 
I took a job in retail and worked my way up, saving money and investing in my own game meat processing business and several rental income properties later I realized this is how I am able to help my fellow Alaskans and military family. In 2023, I left the retail industry, and I am focusing on real estate. My wife would advise me not to put this in here, but I cannot write this without saying that everything that I have become was made possible because of my amazing partner, Andie Ornelas (owner and Broker of OP Realty).
